The American diplomat bought “the Zhiguli” in Estonia : In the World : Vladim

The diplomat representing the interests of the United States of America in Estonia at the American Embassy, bought an old car model VAZ-2106. “Lada” employee of the Embassy acquired in honor of its 30th anniversary.

In the official account of the US diplomatic representation in Estonia to the social network Facebook published an article which contains information about Brian Timm-Brock, who succumbed to nostalgic feelings about the past century and bought an old “Zhiguli”, which was released from the factory in 1987. Brian, commenting on the acquisition, said that this car was the first personal vehicle in his life, so he decided to make this moment truly memorable.

Note that the diplomat is really going to drive a passenger car, and not just keep it as a souvenir, as Timm-Brock already got a set of winter tires, and learned how to operate a manual transmission. The owner of the machine is very happy with my purchase.
