    The baby would have been shaken last week by his father at Sherbrooke has not survived his wounds. The man could be charged with manslaughter.

    Last Thursday, the pediatricians in the emergency department of the CHUS reported to the police of Sherbrooke the case of an infant of just six weeks leads to hospital on Monday in a state of convulsions, and experiencing respiratory problems.

    The suspect, a man of 19 years without a criminal record, had been arrested at his home in the borough of Bromptonville and accused of aggravated assault.

    “This morning, the same individual was again arrested by investigators from the SPS. He could be accused among other things of manslaughter”, stated Wednesday the police in a press release.

    “The coroner’s office has also received the mandate to study the file,” they mentioned.
