While some viewers screaming sexism, the company says that these posters “were meant to be humorous” and that his intent was not to “hurt anyone”.

In a message that Facebook sent to the journaldequebec.com the direction of the Balthazar maintains that the posters who mentioned “Room for brewing big business” on the door of the men’s toilet and Room “bla bla bla” on the bathroom door of the ladies were used for three months and that no customer, up here, did was complain.

The Balthazar added that “the debate on sexism in restoration should focus more on the discrimination based on the physique of the women for their hiring and the imposition of a dress code [provocative]”.

The restaurant has branches in the Galleries of the Capital city of Quebec, in the Quartier Dix30 in Brossard and the Centropolis in Laval.
