MONTREAL – The Turcot interchange in Montreal will once again be the sector to avoid this end of the week due to the complete closure of many of the straps, until Monday morning.

The autoroute 20 and autoroute 720 will be completely closed to traffic in the direction west, Friday, 23: 59 p.m. until Monday at 5 p.m. between exit 5 in the Ville-Marie tunnel and the temporary entrance from the boulevard de Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue (junction Montreal-West).

Because of this, the entrance of the rue Saint-Antoine ouest, at the height of the rue Rose-de-Lima, will be closed from 22 p.m., Friday. A detour will be possible by continuing on the rue Saint-Antoine, Saint-Jacques street, Atwater avenue and highway 15 north.

Same story for the common entrance of the rue Saint-Antoine, Sanguinet and the avenue of the Hotel-de-Ville, which will be closed from 23: 30.

As a result, the shoulder straps for highway 15 south (Décarie) to highway 720 east towards downtown and highway 20 east (from Memory) to highway 720 east towards downtown, will be closed, Friday, 23: 59 to Monday, 5 h.

Same thing on the side of the access ramp to highway 15 north to highway 20 west (from the Memory). The entries in the boulevard De la Vérendrye and Saint-Patrick street to highway 20 west will be closed.

The ramps from highway 15 south (Décarie) to highway 20 west (from the Memory) and the shoulder of the highway 720 ouest (Ville-Marie) to highway 15 north (Decarie) will also be closed between Friday 23: 59 and Monday, 5 h.

It is important to note that the rue Saint-Jacques, in both directions, between boulevard Décarie and rue De Courcelle will be completely closed from Friday 22 p.m. to Monday 5 h. motorists of the rue De Courcelle (north) and the rue Saint-Jacques (west) will be able to go through the way Glen, the rue Sainte-Catherine and boulevard De Maisonneuve.

Also, the Décarie boulevard will be closed between boulevard De Maisonneuve and rue Saint-Jacques. The traffic will be permitted on the Decarie boulevard in a southerly direction. For pedestrians, a shuttle service will be available at the end of the week, every 15 to 20 minutes.

Note that, because of the new configuration, users who use the ramp on the temporary highway 20 east to highway 15 north (Décarie) no longer have access to exit 64 (Sherbrooke street) until 2019. However, it will be possible to make a detour via exit 66 (chemin de la Côte-Saint-Luc).
