The cyclist, Jason Lowndes died Friday following a collision with a car a few hours earlier, announced his former training Garneau-Quebecor.
According to the French newspaper The Team, the 23 year old male was struck during a training session near Bendigo (north of Melbourne), in his country, who had celebrated her birthday on 14 December.
