RIGAUD – Four months after the floods, the anger begins to be palpable in the relief of Rigaud, who took the floor at the meeting of the city council, Monday evening.

Many are impatient, because they are still waiting for a permit of reconstruction.

In Rigaud only, there are 234 records of the victims. Forty families are still at the hotel, not to mention those who are in the home of friends or relatives.

They are waiting for all of the precious permits to repair or rebuild their residence.

The City of Rigaud defends itself and says that it is not she who delays, but the department of public Safety.

According to the director general of the municipality, Chantal Lemieux, only a dozen reports have been returned for the moment.
