The dog had been stolen at the same time as a car on the 17th of February, in the sector of Montréal-Nord was finally found and was able to return home in the last few days.
Last week, in the framework of the issuance of The 9 hours, the owner of the labernois Nala, Amy Boucher-Sinclair, had launched an appeal to help find his dog, saying it was more interested in his animal and by the car.
However, the police were able to trace the alleged thief at the wheel of the car in question, last Friday, in Laval.
“He didn’t want to tell where he had put the dog or if he had it still. The police had found the medal of Nala in the car. Saturday morning, we called [the police] and they told us that they were parked in front of his house , that they have seen a dog that really looked like Nala and they were just waiting for a warrant to enter the house. They have finally found Nala with two other large dogs,” said Ms. Boucher-Sinclair, Monday morning.
It seems that Nala was very happy and eager to return to her home.
