The ex-number 728 has denied in court today, having treated a Montreal “fucking Indian” and have it thrown on the ground to pass him the handcuffs during his arrest, five years ago.

The police retirement Stéfanie Trudeau has offered his version of the events of the night of may 2012, today, before the police ethics Committee. She is accused of having held of offensive comments based on ethnicity, to have used excessive force and have illegally detained Julian Menezes.

The ex-police was told that the climate was tense in the Plateau-Mont-Royal during the spring maple, and that Mr. Menezes his wife and their friend were hostile towards it as soon as they approach. Stéfanie Trudeau and the police officer Constantinos Samaras were giving a ticket to a cyclist.

The four witnesses said that Ms. Trudeau had handed over the ticket offence to the rider indicating that he was wearing a red square. They also said that it had projected Mr. Menezes to the ground to pass him the handcuffs.

But the ex-police remembers instead the man was standing. She also said that it has not accelerated and braked sharply several times, as he claims, that his face struck the window of plexiglass.

She acknowledged, however, have threatened to send them to prison, where “he would be fucked”. “It wasn’t appropriate, but I said”, she explained.

It was, according to her, a last attempt to convince the man to give him his identity, so that she can provide him with a statement of offence.

    • Final arguments will take place later today.
