News 23 October, 2017

On 25 October, the Federation Council will discuss the request with the mediating countries in the nuclear deal with Iran. They want to call that the deal remained in force. Document this statement presented today at a meeting of the Federation Council on international Affairs.

Now the nuclear deal with Iran is under threat, as the US President Donald trump said that he intends unilaterally to violate this agreement, which will lead to its complete cessation.

In the petition to countries intermediaries stated that members of the Federation Council appeal to the government of China, France, Germany, the UK and European governments with a request to use their high powers to persuade their chiefs to save the historic agreement on the Iranian nuclear program. Also the Federation Council appeals to the U.S. Congress with a request for settlement of the issue, as the violation of an agreement with the US may lead to a dangerous situation.

Experts of the Federation Council say that now there is no reason to cancel the agreement with Iran on its nuclear program, since the IAEA reported that Tehran carries out all stipulated in the agreement agreement.
