    Look at this article

George Barris is known to have modified tons of cars for the cinema and the small screen. His greatest achievement will always be the Batmobile 1966.

In 1978, George Barris is rewarded by offering a Ferrari 308 GTS. Used to customize cars, you must have guessed, is that it is not stayed original for very long. Unfortunately, the result is somewhat psychedelic and requires great openness of spirit. You can’t modify a Ferrari as you alter an ordinary american car…

He began the transformation of the 308 GTS in him removing one of its key features : its headlights. They have been repositioned in the grille. A spoiler has also been added to the front in addition to a spoiler at the back. The wings have also been widened.

But it is far from everything. He offered him a two-tone paint, brown and golden. Beautiful ! In order not to forget the origins of Ferrari, a decorative band picks up the colors of the Italy all around the car. The seats have been entitled to the same treatment.

Of course, the wheels of time have been replaced by BBS RS which are very pretty.

Interestingly, this 308 GTS has been extra in an episode of Knight Rider. Note that George Barris is the man behind the Pontiac Firebird K. I. T. T. was the star of the show.

Obviously, it has little rolled up with his Ferrari. In fact, almost forty years later, its odometer shows only 8000 miles, the equivalent of a little less than 13 000 miles.

Next January, this Ferrari absolutely unique will be put to auction in Scottsdale by Barrett-Jackson.
