    The Identity of the snowmobile driver, 33-year-old who lost his life, Tuesday, after a release of trail in Deschambault-Grondines, in the MRC Portneuf and is now being released. This is Steven Gravel, a native of Saint-Gilbert.

    The accident occurred a little before 17: 30, nearly a kilometre of Pine street.

    According to information collected by the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the victim, a native of Portneuf was part of a group of six snowmobilers who was following on a trail. For a reason still unknown, the man went off the trail and collided with a tree.

    “Despite the efforts of the first responders, his death was recorded in the hospital”, said Claude Denis, a spokesman for the SQ.

    An investigation was opened to shed light on this accident.

    “Alcohol would not be an issue,” said Claude Denis.
