MONTREAL – Two people who bought their ticket in Quebec have won the Large lottery of life, Thursday night. A fact “unusual”, according to Loto-Quebec.
“The chances of winning the jackpot are 1 in 14 million. The abacus has exceptionally favoured Quebec once, but twice, and we can only rejoice in it. A wind of luck continues permanently blowing over Quebec,” said Patrice Lavoie, a spokesperson for Loto-Québec, Friday morning.
The first winner will receive the grand prize, or $ 1000 a day for life, or to choose one time lump sum of $7 million.
As for the second winner, it will be paid to the second prize, or $ 25,000 per year for life.
This lottery canada-wide was launched on 18 October 2016 and has already made the winners elsewhere in the country.
