Audi is already working on the next generation of the sedan A7, and we now know a little more about the future of its high-performance variant RS 7.

In an interview with the magazine Evo, the director of design at Audi, Marc Lichte, has argued that the future RS7 will be available in two distinct versions.

The first will use a V8 twin-turbo 4.0-litre. His power would increase to 650 hp, an increase of 90 horsepower compared to the base version of the current model.

Then, Audi would also have the intention of offering a variant hybrid that would make the power of the RS 7 to 700 hp. It also powered by a V8 biturbo, variant hybrid would benefit roughly the same technology that Porsche already uses with the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid.
