We will maintain the level of security in the same way as it is done in the usual way. There will be no decrease in quality of service to the greatness of our territory. Actually, all of our police staff and civilian will be put to contribution, as in other departments of the city. This is one of our great strengths to the City of Québec unite in function of the speciality of each to collaborate and work in a team in an event.

We wish to respect the right to freedom of everyone, to express themselves in public spaces. But all this must be done in compliance with standards, laws and regulations in force. We want to offer the same level of security to all the participants, but also to our citizens and our corporate citizens.

How to monitor there groups that are already occurring, among other things, on the social networks?

Naturally, our specialists in criminal intelligence are on the lookout for any form of information found in cyberspace at the level of the open sources or preferred sources.

The control unit crowd of the SQ with the practice in the next few weeks. Is this what you plan to do the same thing to Quebec?

In SPVQ, it ensures the security of between 250 and 300 events per year. Most are small in scale, ranging from a dozen participants to several hundred, sometimes infiltrated by people with bad intentions. The expertise is there in the SPVQ. My staff is very well trained, very well equipped to deal with this kind of situation.
