    QUEBEC – A cautionary tale for hummus that is sold in a property located in Laval, has been issued due to the presence of undeclared peanuts and tree nuts.

    The product in question, “Hummus pumpkin” has been sold by the company Slaughter Premium, located on the boulevard Saint-Martin ouest, until 15 march inclusive.

    It was sold in different formats, the label has the words “Susie’s gluten-free”.

    People who suffer from an allergy to peanuts or nuts should not consume the above products and can return them to the establishment where they purchased them.

    The ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food pointed out that this warning is released “as a precaution” and that no cases of illness associated with the consumption of these foods has not been reported until now.
