DeMar DeRozan had 31 points, Jonas Valanciunas added 16 points and 13 rebounds, and the Toronto Raptors crashed the Orlando Magic 109-79 on Sunday night at the Amway Center.

DeRozan has scored at least 30 points in his last four games and has reached this plateau 15 times this season. With a narrow lead of 55-51 at the end of the second quarter, the Raptors (19-8) opened the locks in the second half, taking a 20-point lead in the third quarter.

They dominated their opponents 54-28 in the final 24 minutes of the clash and they scored 100 points in a 14th consecutive game, the NBA’s longest running sequence this season.

The Raptors have won five of their last six games and 11 of their last 13 to come close to a portion of the Cleveland Cavaliers and the first rank of the Eastern Association.

Evan Fournier was the most effective offensively at the Magic (12-17). He got 15 points, but he made five mistakes while trying to contain DeMarre Carroll, which is much more imposing.

Former Raptors Bismack Biyombo amassed eight points, 12 rebounds and three blocks have 27 minutes of play. After a season in Toronto, Biyombo signed a four-year contract valued at US $ 72 million in the month of July.

The Raptors will host the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday, while the Magic will compete at the Heat in Miami.
