The metropolitan transit system announced Wednesday morning that users will receive compensation for the many delays of commuter trains.

RTM has announced that over the next few weeks, two compensation options will be offered to customers in recognition of the inconvenience, or a discount of 30 % on a monthly or six tracks of train free.

The Newspaper had revealed that nearly a quarter of trains were late in the month of January. Several users have shown their frustration on the social networks. The RTM had made an act of contrition, but had always refused to offer compensation, to the plan presented on Wednesday morning.

This plan also provides for investments of $ 450 Million in the next five years to improve infrastructure, rolling stock, operation and maintenance as well as improvement of the plan of operation in winter.
