    The authorities favour the thesis of the accident in the record of the death of the young Athena Gervais, Laval.

    The 14-year-old had been seen for the last time Monday over the lunch hour. Thursday, around 16: 30, she was found without life in the creek located behind the school, Poly-Jeunesse in Laval.     An autopsy would be performed today. Toxicological analyses should also be ordered to determine if there has been consumption of alcohol or drugs in the hours prior to death.

    Very difficult task

    The ex-policeman said that, often, one or two investigators make the connection with the family during the search. It is their task to the difficult task of announcing the sad news to the family, after the discovery of the remains.
