DUNHAM | The pain is still vivid in Dunham where the fire of a family home has resulted in the death of a 4 year old child in the night from Friday to Saturday.

The community stands together to support bereaved parents and their younger children. In particular, a campaign of socio-funding on GoFundMe had raised in the middle of the afternoon on Monday, more than 14 000 $.
Collection boxes were also distributed in the different shops of the municipality to raise funds.
People have shown great generosity, said traders faced by TVA Nouvelles, who have willingly accepted to raise funds for the couple.
The municipality will also make a donation of a few thousand dollars. A man from Montreal has, meanwhile, signalled his intention to give the furniture to his mother who must move to go and live in residence.
Fifty hours after the tragedy that occurred early in the night Saturday, the population of Dunham always feel a great sadness and above all, misunderstanding.
Even on Monday, people were passing in front of the rubble of the mansion located on the rue des Cajuns to drop off stuffed animals to show support and encouragement to parents.
The police investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire. An electrical problem that remains is the thesis privileged by the investigators.
