Skate Canada made the announcement Thursday. The event will take place from 16 to 20 march 2020, at the Bell Centre.
Canada has been the host of the competition, which brings together 200 skaters from 50 countries, on 10 occasions, most recently in London, Ontario, in 2013. Montreal has hosted this competition once, in 1932.
The country also hosts another international competition each year Skate Canada International, one of the stages of the Grand Prix ISU.
