The world’s largest diamond sold in Belgium for $ 40 million : In the World : Vladim

Diamond called Lesotho Promise (“the Promise of Lesotho”) was sold at auction in Belgium for $ 40 million. Lesotho Promise was found in 2006 at the mine Letseng in the Northern part of the Kingdom of Lesotho.

 

Found in the Northern part of the Kingdom of Lesotho in 2006, the diamond had become a legend. Today it is the largest ever mined diamond in the world, and held the auction in Belgium carried out the sale of over $ 40 million.
