The activists of the youth wing of the PLQ will meet Saturday and Sunday, at Lennoxville, in the framework of the 35th Congress-Young people who will be on the theme “Develop success through education”.

In addition to demanding the establishment of a college teacher – a proposal that was strongly criticized by the autonomous Federation of teachers (FAE) – the young liberals ask the government to review the curriculum.

Mr. Marleau have in mind the introduction of a course in sex education, that young liberal judge “urgent”.

Always at the secondary level, they suggest to put in place internships to allow for more practical experiences to the students.

The young liberals will debate also in the end of the week a proposal calling for the government to impose a training “mandatory” for the volunteers that participate in the initiation in the academic institutions.

They also wish to ask the government to deploy more resources in the CPE.

Mr. Marleau ensures that it is not a criticism of the balance sheet of the liberal government in the field of education, which he described as “exceptional”.
