Mercedes-Benz has just unveiled its Sprinter 2019. The German manufacturer has taken the opportunity to announce that an electric version of its cargo truck was going to be coming soon.
But for the moment, we do know virtually no more except that it will be intended for urban use. Therefore, it is necessary to already forgotten a great deal of autonomy. We do not know the details surrounding the motor or batteries. It is expected that the eSprinter will be marketed in Europe as early as 2019. No date has, however, been advanced for America.

With the Smart fortwo electric, the eSprinter will be one of the first electric vehicle produced by Mercedes-Benz.
This is not the only news about the Sprinter who has captured the attention. In fact, in addition to having revised the grille, headlights and fires, it has also modernised the interior by integrating the technology MBUX combined with a touch screen of 26 inches. This new system has been introduced first, earlier this week, in the all-new a-Class.

The Sprinter 2019 will also be equipped with the system Mercedes Pro Connect which allows fleet managers to have access to certain data of the vehicle, and this, at a distance.
Elsewhere on the planet, this new cargo truck will be equipped with front-wheel drive. In contrast, in North America, only the versions with rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive will be available.
