A road user has got a show out of the ordinary Monday, while the super lynx is left to take a photo.

The beast was on the edge of the 1st Avenue Sartigan, between Saint-Martin and Saint-Georges, in the Beauce region. According to the Sûreté du Québec, the huge cat has been involved in a collision with a car, but it does not seem to have been injured.

“The beast has been bumped, but she seems not to have been seriously wounded, because it is saved in the wood by the result,” says Ann Mathieu, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).

There has been only property damage. “It is quite unusual as the type of collision,” adds the spokesperson.

The photo, taken by Daniel Poulin, has been shared nearly 6700 times.
