Three buses stuck in the slope of the chemin Côte-des-Neiges because of the snow forced the closure of the street between Sherbrooke and Doctor Penfield for more than four hours.
It took many manoeuvres, the application of a lot of salt and the intervention of a tug to release one of the three buses that could get down the street.

For the other two, the operation required more than an hour. The first bus stuck on the corner of Côte-des-Neiges and Docteur-Penfield was leaning against a lamppost and had to be pulled aside so as to not damage the furniture.
The vehicle has been checked out by the tug to 14h. The last bus had to finish climbing the coast is completely cleared.
The street was immediately reopened to traffic in both directions.
According to residents of the area, the chemin Côte-des-Neiges is closed to buses during big storms, but wasn’t this morning.
