Toronto: a music teacher arrested for sexual assault

    TORONTO – A professor of music and history was arrested Monday by the Toronto police. The 42-year-old, who teaches in a secondary school in Scarborough, is suspected of sexual assault on one of these students.

    This is a complaint filed by a teenage girl of 17 years who has put investigators on the trail of this teacher.

    In a press release, the police stated that these assaults would have occurred in the school, on three occasions, between the end of the year 2017, and January 29, 2018.

    Stephen Parkin, 42-year-old is facing charges of sexual assault and sexual exploitation. He will appear before the court on march 20.
