THREE-RIVERS | All charges against Jonathan Bettez are maintained, announced on Wednesday morning the judge, he will undergo his trial before a single judge, without a jury, at the courthouse of Trois-Rivières.

Bettez should, in particular, to respond to charges of possession and distribution of child pornography.

Four counts of the indictment, which covered a period from 2013 to 2016, were put to the test. The judge, however, concluded that the evidence was sufficient to go to trial.

In the course of the preliminary investigation, 12 witnesses were heard. Jonathan Bettez was absent for health reasons.

The case will return to court on January 12 next.
