Trois-Rivières: a series of accidents on highway 40 west slows traffic

    THREE-RIVERS – A series of accidents has caused a significant congestion on the highway 40 west to Trois-Rivières, Monday afternoon.

    A dozen vehicles have been involved a little before 14 h. According to the preliminary information of the Sûreté du Québec, there were no injuries during these accidents. Only vehicles were damaged.

    Several fire trucks, ambulances and remorqueuses have been on the spot to release the fastest possible access.

    The accidents have created congestion in the area, and this, in both directions as motorists slowed to watch the scene.
