United Airlines: American airlines are not allowed to Board a passenger with a peacock : In the World : Vladim

News 31 January, 2018

In Newark (USA) a woman tried to pass the gate together with his pet peacock named Dexter. A massive bird gracefully perched on the shoulder of his mistress, when she tried to pass the flight check-in. There is a video on Facebook.

Airport officials stopped the passenger and her feathered friend. Her attempt to explain their actions need “emotional support” was not a success. Pet is not declared in advance (48 hours before flight) and did not meet the requirements (weight, size), provided for these cases. After the third warning, a woman and her “therapist” was not allowed on the plane.

This is not the first case. Four years ago, in 2014, the airline employees of US Airways have not missed a pig named Hobie. Animal screamed loudly and scared the other passengers. 19 January, another American airline Delta Airlines has announced stricter requirements for animal companions of passengers who take on Board for “emotional support”. After the incident, United Airlines promised to review its policy in respect of such cases.
