Fighting repetition, gestures, unsightly, fights with bare fists; a cruise ship of Carnival Cruise Lines has descended into anarchy last week in the middle of the sea, off the coast of Australia.
According to what people have told different passengers to australian media, a family group with about twenty people would have worked tirelessly to sow the seeds of discord aboard the “Carnival Legend” by behaving crudely, by taking on other passengers and triggering fights.
Passengers reported the incidents over several days. “They were looking for trouble, the moment they set foot on board. They have even taken it to a 16 year old boy because he had looked at them,” said Kellie Peterson on radio 3AW, according to remarks reported by the Washington Post.
According to Ms. Peterson, the security staff of the ship was warned she and the members of his family to avoid walking around alone on the ship to avoid the family turbulent. Passengers have even chosen to isolate themselves in their cabin.
All culminated last Friday when a brawl general, partially captured on video, broke out between several people and members of the security team of the ship. We can notably see members of staff kicking a man on the ground. Carnival Cruise has also indicated that it would investigate the actions of members of their security staff.
A man named Zac told radio 3AW, according to the Sydney Morning Herald, that he would be expelled from the boat. The man has rejected the blame of the incident on a misunderstanding at the pool and on the fact that the security followed him “tirelessly” for his family.
Finally, about thirty people were reportedly injured on board the boat, reported the Sydney Morning Herald.
Due to these events, the ship, which was seeking to rally New Caledonia from Melbourne, Australia, has had to turn back to return to the fold, ten days after his departure. Six men and three teenagers have been forced to leave the ship, under police escort, while 14 other passengers were tracking the movement of their own accord.
The police opened an investigation, but no one has yet been charged, said the daily life of Sydney.
