    In response to his counterparts from Montreal, the Québec city tourism launches him as an offensive publicity to invite Montrealers to come and visit the national capital.

    Presented a few weeks ago and titled “I’ve changed. Come back and see me”, the ad campaign puts the spotlight on a telephone conversation between Montreal and Quebec city. Montreal leaves a voice message in Quebec city to invite its citizens to visit the metropolis this winter, adding that it is “more switched on”, “more colourful” and “vibrant as ever”.

    “When you leave a message, be polite, this is the answer,” says Eric Bilodeau, director of marketing and communications to the Office of tourism of Quebec. The advertising, presented on social media, is therefore a direct response, on a humorous tone, where Quebec leaves to the charm and offers to meet you half-way between the two cities.

    “The relations between the two tourist offices are very good. We said that it was an opportunity to talk about the people here and in the region. 75% of the tourists who visit the Old Capital from the province of Quebec. And at the same time, we can remind ourselves that we are so busy in Quebec city, there are so many wonderful activities here!” adds Eric Bilodeau.
