Vine: A new app arrives on Twitter

Techno 18 December, 2016

Vine is not dead! The management team announced that the social network will live through an application on Twitter. We explain everything.
Since the announcement of its closure, Vine had left many sad and nostalgic already online. The time of tributes having passed, the leaders of the social network are out of their silence to tell us more about the future of Vine. Good news to remember: no, Vine is not dead. The application will be disabled but in January, a new feature will land on Twitter. As explained through a post on the site Medium , the Vine team designed a way to keep the concept of their network alive. It was named Vine Camera. Thus, it will be possible to us via our Twitter accounts, to film and to post videos of six seconds as Vine allowed us until then.

Vine will continue to live via Twitter
With the possibility of saving our videos directly on our smartphone, we can then probably post them on other social networks such as Facebook or Instagram. Vine’s teams are also working on the backward compatibility of Vine’s follow to Twitter to make it easier for Viners to keep their community on the network to the blue bird. As a reminder, all your videos posted on Vine can be downloaded at the moment and these will remain available on the official website of the platform after the deactivation of the application. That is reassuring Pornhub who wanted to acquire Vine last few weeks.
