Thieves, snow blowers seem to give heart to joy this winter in Longueuil.

Saturday, in a press release, the police Service of the urban agglomeration of Longueuil has indicated that since the 28th of December last, no less than 16 flights of snow blowers have been reported.

“Most of these devices have been stolen inside the shelter Tempo,” said the police, asking for help from the public to provide clues in order to solve these flights.

“If you have been witness to events in connection with one of these flights, we ask that you contact us by calling 450 463-7011 or the 450 646-8500 if you wish to remain anonymous”, one can read in the message of the SPAL.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, the police department recommends that citizens store their tools and maintenance equipment to the inside of a place locked (garage, shed, and other), and not to leave the doors of these shelters open and the view looks ill-intentioned.

The SPAL adds that “if you have to leave these machines on the outside, plan to have a metal string and padlock and then, cover it with a cloth once the engine cooled down”.

It also suggests to engrave the objects, or apply the paint to make them more easily identifiable in the case of vol.
