    Look at this article

A good part of the province could be covered with a thick mantle of snow as early as Tuesday.

If multiple sectors can already boast to be dressed in their beautiful trappings of Christmas, the southern part of Quebec has still not had “real” snow storm this winter.

This may be a thing of the past as of tomorrow since the advent of a low pressure system from the Great Lakes will result in significant falls of snow on the Outaouais region, the Laurentians, Lanaudière, Laval, Montreal, Montérégie, Mauricie, Bois-Francs, the National Capital region, Charlevoix and Bas-St-Laurent.

The Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Côte-Nord and the Gaspé region could also experience snow showers, to a lesser extent, however.

    Strong accumulations

The storm, which is expected to bring in the morning on the morning of Tuesday, could last until late Wednesday.

The areas of Charlevoix and Côte-de-Beaupré could be the hardest hit according to the forecasts of Weather Laurentides.

In fact, more than 40 centimeters of snow are expected.

In the metropolitan region, about twenty centimeters, which should extend to the ground.

In the National Capital region, we are talking about a build-up of a thirty centimeters.

    Caution on the roads

Snow accumulation should be accompanied by strong winds which will cause blowing snow.

The visibility would then be reduced on the roads.

Remember to adapt your driving to reduce the risk of accidents.
