Wiko has taken advantage of the MWC 2017 to present its new smartphones including the Wiko WiM. Featuring a dual photo sensor, this smartphone is the most expensive in the history of the brand. Presentation
“I came down with my eyes lowered, I slapped them when I left,” this phrase from Booba could describe Wiko’s mood at the MWC. The company took advantage of the high mass of mobile phone and mobility to unveil its new devices and hit a big blow. Wiko has thus lifted the veil on the MAX versions of three mobiles of the Y range: Lenny3, Jerry and Sunny . But that’s not all. The brand that wants to internationalize has bluffed everyone by presenting the Wiko WiM which wants to “democratize the latest photo technologies “. This smartphone with a dual photo sensor (a first for the brand) is the most expensive in the history of Wiko, just that!
With WiM, Wiko can change dimensions. The Marseille-based company with Chinese capital, which has hung the label of an entry-level brand now has its eyes on it. Its new flagship thus benefits from a dual photo sensor capable of photography in RAW and filming in 4K , with a definition of 13 megapixels for each objective. The smartphone offers an RGB sensor and another monochrome with a f / 2.0 aperture. What remind us of the camera of the P9 and that of the P10 which offers the same sensors with definitions of 12 and 20 megapixels . Like the latest Huawei smartphones equipped with cameras designed in collaboration with Leica, Wiko WiM was designed with 3 partners (Qualcomm, DxO and Vidhance).
But the camera is perhaps not the only asset of this new smartphone that has an AMOLED Full HD screen (1920 x 1080 pixels) of 5.5 inches. Processor level, it embeds the mid-range chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 626, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM. It has 32 or 64 GB of memory, expandable via a microSD card. And of course, the Wiko WiM is based on Android 7.0 Nougat, with the custom interface of Wiko . It also features a fingerprint sensor and can be recharged quickly using Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology. Planned for the month, the smartphone that will be sold at 400 euros will also be entitled to a Lite version, less powerful and more accessible. Yeah, Wiko sees the future big!
