Xiaomi: The Redmi Pro 2 would be replaced by a Xiaomi X1 borderless

Techno 5 July, 2017

The Redmi Pro 2 would no longer be topical … Xiaomi would have decided to abandon it in favor of the Xiaomi X1, whose characteristics have recently leaked.

At the beginning of the year, the Redmi Pro 2 was at the heart of many rumors. It was given a RAM of 4 or 6 GB, a storage capacity of 64 or 128 GB and a battery of 4500 mAh, among other characteristics chanmé. But for some time, the Chinese smartphone was more discreet, and we wondered why. We now have an idea, and that is quite surprising. According to several sources including GSMArena, Xiaomi would ultimately decide not to market it. The Redmi Pro 2 would disappear in favor of the Xiaomi X1, a device characterized by a borderless screen that would be available in two different versions.

Both versions of the Xiaomi X1 would share a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, a dual rear photo sensor designed by Sony, and a 3.5 mm jack. They would offer either 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, or 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. They would differ only in the screen definition, which would be 2160 x 1080 for one and 1920 x 1080 pixels for the other. On the price side, it would be between $ 340 and $ 415 depending on the configuration concerned. Admit it’s tempting!
