2 – Gilmore Girls
Broadcast between 2000 and 2007, and finally bought by Netflix in 2016, Gilmore Girls marked a whole generation of viewers. A real little gem television, the series focuses on the very close relationship that binds Lorelai Gilmore, her daughter Rory that she fell pregnant at the age of 16 years. In addition to their loves and the complicated relationship that the duo meets with the parents of Lorelai, Gilmore Girls also portrays the daily life of the inhabitants of Stars Hollow, a small town american populated with characters as lunar as endearing. More than just another family comedy to the u.s., the series has become a model thanks to its dialogues more than perfect and its great references to pop culture. A condensed version of a good mood, certainly.
With Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, 8 seasons, in France on Netflix

3 – Parks and Recreation
Little known in France, Parks and Recreation, still deserves all our attention (and our love). In the vein of the Office, the nbc sitcom puts in scene the daily life of the employees of the department of parks and recreation of the small fictional town of Pawnee. We discovered the character of Leslie Knope, a model employee with great political ambitions. Hilarious, touching, whimsical, but also feminist, the heroine pulled by Amy Poehler, is surrounded by characters as wacky as she is. Dialogues cults, actors in total symbiosis, Parks and Recreation, is a real little ray of sunshine.
With Amy Poehler, Nick Offerman, Chris Pratt, 7 seasons, in France on Canal+ Series

4 – Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
As a teenager, Rebecca got sacked at the end of the holiday camps by Josh Chan. The years go by, Rebecca becomes a lawyer, brilliant, and leads the good life in New York. But one day, she stumbles upon Josh. That’s not a problem, the young woman decides to abandon everything and to settle in the same city as his beloved California to reclaim it. As its name suggests, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend focuses on an ex-girlfriend a bit sticky. But Rebecca is far from being crazy, it is above all a dreamer, complex and full of neuroses. As far-fetched as its heroine, the series is also a real breath of fresh air. Rachel Bloom (interpreter of Rebecca and creator of the series) ose interspersed episodes of musical numbers, has fun with the discomfort of the viewers, and grinds the codes of the romantic comedy in every sense. Has mater and quickly.
With Rachel Bloom, Vincent Rodriguez III, Santino Fontana, 2 seasons, in France, the series will soon be broadcast by a channel of the M6 group

5 – This is Us
You are moved to the side of the tidal wave, This is Us ? Then let us provide you with a short session of catching up. Dramatic series in the vein of Parenthood or Brothers and Sisters, the creation of Dan Fogelman explores the crossed destinies of three characters born on the same day. There’s Randall, who goes in search of her biological father, Kate, a young obese woman and depressed that no longer wants to be defined by his weight, and Kevin, actor sitcom evil in its pumps, and, incidentally, twin brother of Kate. Taking as a point of departure for the day when these three characters decide to change their existence, This is Us leads the viewer into the past, playing with time, stretching it, reverse it. This manipulation of the epochs allows each episode to offer a new revelation, and thus to renew our interest. More tire-tears that feel good, This is Us is a true guilty pleasure.
With Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Chrissy Metz, 1 season, in France on Canal+ Series

6 – Master of None
Revealed by Parks and Recreation, Aziz Ansari has managed to reinvent itself totally with Master of None, series in which he plays the leading role and of which he is the creator. The actor slips into the skin of Dev, an actor who vivote in Manhattan, and whose life could resemble that of any thirty-year-old. Dev wants to find love, it connects the evenings with friends, has struggled to understand his parents. In the vein of Girls, or Louie, Master of None plays all the time with the fiction. As his interpreter, Dev is the son of indian immigrants, he is an actor and has to deal with the everyday racism. But Aziz Ansari does not watch the navel for as much. Furiously contemporary, the series looks at subjects such as sexism, the conflict of generations and the desire to have a child when one is single, all with a good dose of tenderness and humour. The characters are well constructed, and attractively neurotic, and the result is there : a small nugget indie to discover any emergency.
With Aziz Ansari, Noël Wells, Eric Wareheim, 1 season, in France on Netflix

7 – The Mindy Project
Mindy Kaling had enough heroine in white, and ultra thin. Then she had the idea to create his own series and put themselves in the scene. Mindy Kaling idevient Mindy Lahiri, a gynecologist of indian origin, round but quite comfortable in his dresses from designers and her shoes are colorful. Mindy is funny, eccentric and overly sure of herself. But it’s just as well because an obstetrician is surrounded by a gallery of characters and also crossed it. Pop, fun, touching, the sitcom is an ode to romantic comedies. But be careful, if the heroine knows the codes on the fingertips, it puts them perpetually in question, not hesitating to spend his professional career before the famous soul-sister. A series to prescribe at all depressed in the winter.
With Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz, Chris Messina, 5 seasons, in France on Comedy+

8 – Crazyhead
Already the creator of the highly successful Misfits, Howard Overman continues to be of interest to the monsters that populate our daily lives with Crazyhead. But this time, the young people in the drift have been replaced by two young women determined to take the demon. Believing first crazy, she enters another dimension when she met Raquel, a cool girl and exuberant able also to see the lost souls. Rejected by society, Amy and Raquel are going to find in their new combat a way to assert themselves and to break free of the shackles. Very rooted in reality as could be Misfits, Crazyhead plays with the codes of the fantastic, without ever to become a series of its kind. It is so far from Supernatural, or even Outcast. Still, Crazyhead is a series of touching, funny, and downright enjoyable. Has bingewatcher without moderation.

Produced by Tina Fey (30 Rock), this sitcom ultra crazy tells the daily life of Kimmy, a young woman held captive for 15 years by a révérant who believed in guru. Freshly landed in New York, this eternal optimist who knows nothing of our society, is going to have to adapt. Fortunately, this heroine smile XXL will cross on its way from the characters even more wacky as she is. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is a comedy of excess which sometimes goes very far. But if it is carried by its jokes and its sequences of the absurd, she is also extremely intelligent, pop, and endearing. Ellie Kemper – who embodies Kimmy – seems to be spring-mounted, and Tituss Burgess, who lends her traits to Titus Andromedon, the roommate of the heroine, is a one-man show all by himself. No excuses, you just don’t have the right to miss this nugget.

At the age when others have already experienced many adventures, Tracey is going to discover the adult age… and it’s not going to be any rest.
