Actor Bruce Campbell has given his opinion on the future of Ash vs the Evil Dead during an interview in public, and shower with the hopes of a new film.
While the hopes of seeing an Evil Dead 4 coming to cinemas were born again after a recent statement from the actor Bruce Campbell, this one has apparently changed its tack and made this time a little more pessimistic during a session of questions-answers at the Irish Film Institute. Although, fortunately, it has other earthly desires :
The indominable Bruce Campbell @GroovyBruce , explains that Ash vs Evil Dead will be the end of Ashley Williams’ adventure. Sad but he sounds like a man with a plan.#dublin #ifi #brucecampbell#evildead #ashvsevildead #ash #hailtothechin #hailtothechinbooktour pic.twitter.com/rbWVRhKBPq

“A new film ? No, no, no. Because if they cancel the series, I think that Ash will be finished. There is, seriously, where I live. I fumerai some weed, and I a wire.”
Although there appears to be no doubt that Bruce Campbell would prefer to continue, the man also appears to accept this prospect with equanimity and detachment. But then, what are the chances of survival of the series on Starz ? Euhm… not top in fact. Ash vs Evil Dead has never been a champion of the hearings for the chain, and season 3 is actually under-perform at this time. It will probably have to wait until the beginning of may, 2018, before you know what it is in the end, but the future of’Ash vs Evil Dead seems to be quite frankly outstanding, just like The Exorcist, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and very surprenamment Rick and Morty.
