Black Mirror : season 5 might happen sooner than expected

The showrunner Charlie Brooker has given a few elements, and suggesting that season 5 of Black Mirror might come out as early as this year.

Black Mirror has always been a show popular, and this popularity has made that climb after the last season 4, who brought his showrunner Charlie Brooker some of the best reviews of the series , and even a potential project spin-off around episode USS Callister. Thus no one was surprised when Netflix renews Black Mirror for a season 5 there are less than two weeks, however what is more surprising, is the speed of the production of this new batch.

A small spin-off ?

According to the words spoken by Charlie Brooker at the Royal Television Society Awards reported by Radio Times :

“We are in the process of shooting an episode at this time. We are on the point of turn another, it is imminent. I am currently writing the next, beyond, in the other hand, it is a little more vague.”

If you expect a season of 6 episodes as it was the case of seasons 3 and 4, this means that half the season is already almost ready to see the light of day. Could we expect a broadcast soon this year, at the end of 2018 ? At the pace things are going, it doesn’t seem all that impossible. And then, it would allow you to Black Mirror us remake a small episode of Christmas. But patience, for the moment, no official release date has been communicated.
