Touching, dramatic, and sincere, Atypical made his big return with a season 2 and announced a release date.
Unveiled on the sly on 11 August 2017 on Netflix, Atypical came out of nowhere but was able to find its audience from the first episodes. Both funny and deeply moving, this new series stamped Netflix was leading his audience in the throes of the everyday life of a high school student with autism, Sam Gardner (Keir Gilchrist), determined to find the great love.
The series, created, among others, by Robia Rashid, was able to make us laugh, and we do have tears in his eyes. So it was with enough of anticipation, as we awaited the return of the show for a new season.
When you’re too far to the bottom in a series
It is now done, since the giant SVoD unveiled yesterday evening a first trailer of the new season, as well as a release date. This season 2 will consist of 10 episodes as opposed to 8 for the previous one, and will be released on 7 September. Jennifer Jason Leigh, Michael Rapaport and Brigette Lundy-Paine, will also be returning for this new season which promises to be full of upheaval for the young hero. Between the change of school, Casey, relational difficulties within the parental couple and the future school which will omen, Sam will need courage to move forward.
Verdict the back to see if season 2 is at the height of our expectations.
