Cursed it is, above all, the new project signed by the pen of Tom Wheeler and illustrated by Frank Miller, in the form of a comicbook, which will be released during the fall of 2019 and which will be then resumed in the form of a series by Netlix. According to preliminary information released by the Hollywood Reporter, Cursed should be a new adaptation of the legend of King Arthur. The plot would focus on a teenage girl by the name of Nimue, who will be camped by Katherine Langford, and would be a “teenage heroine with a gift and mystery which is destined to become the powerful and tragic Lady of the Lake”.

For its part, the platform describes its new series as “a story of coming-of-age themes that are so familiar in our time : the obliteration of the natural world, the religious terror, the senseless war, and the courage to stand in the face of the impossible”. It should be noted that for the time being, if no information has yet been revealed about the roles of Arthur or Merlin, the Enchanter, the main interested Katherine Langford, said more than delighted at the idea to start the series via a post to Instagram.

On the production side, the series has already found its director for the first two episodes in the person of Zetna Fuentes (Shameless, Murder, Scandal). This last will also be executive producer alongside Frank Miller and Silenn Thomas. No date of filming and broadcast has so far been given.
