It is, therefore, on the 19th of October next as the third season of Daredevil will arrive on Netflix and it is more than time that it lands, if only to raise the level of Marvel heroes on the network.
Yes, because it’s good, you can’t really say that the Marvel heroes have really responded to our expectations on the duration. Aside from Daredevil and The Punisher, the conclusion is not the most famous. And yet, it has not been mentioned Defenders. And if we said up until now that the reason for these disappointments in the chain came about because of the problems between Disney and Netflix, the first preparing its own service, SVOD, and becoming thus one of the main competitors of the second, in the end it is perhaps not this the problem.
I’m Bat… er Daredevil
Indeed, while it is believed that after the season 3 of Daredevil there might be change, this is the boss of Marvel TV, Jeff Loeb, comes to induce quite the opposite to the micro of Entertainment Weekly revealing that Marvel was very keen that the devil of Hell’s Kitchen re-enlist for a lot of seasons :
“We find the best show runners possible, whether it’s Steve Lightfoot for Punisher or Erik Oleson for Daredevil. And we are working with them to imagine the best stories possible. Is it that Marvel has ideas for season 4,5 and 6 of Daredevil ? Yes, of course. But all of this will need to be seriously discussed with the two other major partners who are involved in it : Netflix and our showrunner. So we would prefer to leave on a season after the other, with, however, a general idea of where we want to take all of our characters.”
I am fear, I am… really…
Once again, we would not be against the continuation of the series, which is far and away the best of the lot and the best made. Still, we haven’t seen season 3 so we don’t know if this is always the case. But, once again, also, there is always this problem of network Disney to come up with this clearly stated determination to unseat Netflix from its pedestal. So everything remains to be done.
A season 3 which already gives the tone…
