Weird City : the series comic mode, Black Mirror by the director of Get Out unveils its trailer

In the Face of the Black Mirror Netflix, Youtube Premium fate an anthology comic on the technologies.

Youtube Premium we had half-convinced at the beginning of December with its series of science-fiction between Alien, Lost and The Thing : Origin. In early February, the streaming platform will return with a series of anthological comic to the tunes of Black Mirror (series competitor Netflix), which will be called Weird City.

A first trailer has been released for Youtube Premium.

 

 

Weird City will take place in a world that is dystopian, where the middle class has totally disappeared. Has the image of the first plan of this trailer, the city is divided in two (the separation is indicated by a line) with one hand, the world of the rich with huge buildings, and on the other, that of the poor, full of slums.

The series is a fun parody of the current society from a point of view technolique of course, as a Black Mirror, with social networks, online dating… In addition, it will address probably the disregard of class as suggested by the visit conveyed four rich in the “slum”.

 

The famous line of separation

 

A critique of the society on the tone of the comedy and in the form anthological. Created by Jordan Peele (Get Out) and Charlie Sanders (Key & Peele), the series will include six episodes. With Dylan O’brien is very present in the trailer, Weird City has many other stars in its ranks with among others : Mark Hamill, Rosario Dawson, Michael Cera, Awkwafina, Steven Yeun, Gillian Jacobs, Laverne Cox, LeVar Burton, Ed O’neill, or Yvette Nicole Brown.

It will be on Youtube Premium from the February 13, next. Us, the new film from Jordan Peele, will be released on the cinema screens on 20 march 2019.
