What better than a forbidden love story to attract people to the cinema? We know a lot of them that made us laugh, weep and shout in front of our screens, the best known being probably that of Romeo and Juliet. When we discovered the trailer of Tulip Fever , we think we will have no trouble immersing ourselves in the story of Sophia, a young orphan played by Alicia Vikander soon to the poster of Lara Croft , chosen by a rich man (Christoph Waltz) to become his wife. Living in her new home, her life changes when she crosses the road of Jan Van (Dane Dehaan) which she seems to fall immediately in love and it is reciprocal.
The two lovers will then engage in a forbidden and risky relationship, while seeking a way to escape Sophia’s husband. Will they survive or perish like all unhappy lovers? For the moment no release date has been announced, but with such a cast we are sure it’s coming soon! Alicia Vikander, Christoph Waltz and Dane Dehaan join Cara Delevingne (both will soon be playing Valerian) ,Holliday Grainger (The Finest Hour), Zach Galifianakis (Very Bad Trip) and Judy Dench (Indian Palace).
