Sony Xperia: A 6-inch borderless screen in the program?

Japan Display Inc has just launched the production of 6-inch slabs at the 18: 9 ratio. Sony could be one of the builders to enjoy it, for a future Xperia.
Initiated by the Xiaomi Mi Mix late 2016, the trend of the borderless has since developed strongly. Many manufacturers have decided to adopt it, optimizing the format of their products for an optimized grip. This is the case of LG with the LG G6 and Samsung with the Galaxy S8, both endowed with a borderless design with a ratio of 18: 9 making them as beautiful to look as pleasant to use. But by the end of the year, Sony decide to get there too. Japan Display Inc (JDI) has just announced the production of a 6-inch slab in the same format, which could be aimed at one of the future smartphones of the Japanese manufacturer . The 6-inch slabs designed by JDI, a joint venture between Sony, Toshiba and Hitachi, will have “thin borders on all four sides” . They will offer a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution for the RV, and will be based on the second generation of Pixel Eyes technology. What guarantee a high quality display, by which Sony might well be interested.
