Fear The Walking Dead Season 3: Episode 5, Survive at All Cost, Our Critic
Last night AMC was broadcasting a new episode of Season 3 of Fear The Walking Dead and we invite you to discover our review of “Burning in Water, Drowning in Flames”.
New week and new season 3 episode of Fear The Walking Dead last night on AMC. We offer you our criticism of the episode entitled “Burning in Water, Drowning in Flames” and attention to spoilers if you have not seen it. This week again, AMC offers us a well-paced episode that takes the plot forward while unveiling new facets of the Otto family. During his mission with Troy, Madison continues to tame the young man and it must be confessed that it is difficult not to find an attractive hair, or in any case fascinating . While they search for their men, Troy’s group falls on a scene worthy of a horror film: their burnt-alive men and one of the pillars of the ranch, Phil,
A new character who spoke after circling them and asking them to evacuate Otto Ranch, which is on their land, is then identified as the killer of Travis and Charlene. This new intrigue which once again involves the different cultures of the characters and which raises the problem of different peoples and the latent racism of the South of the United States is already interesting to us and we are eager to know a little more about this new group. After being sent as messengers, Troy, Madison and the others are back on the road and Madison tries more or less subtle to give Troy leadership lessons . Using his past to reach him, Madison takes risks that nearly cost him the following night. Despite Troy’s bloodshed,
Meanwhile at the ranch, Alicia is in the midst of an existential crisis and it is in Jake’s arms that she finds comfort. Too bad that the writers are limited to portraying it as a teenager in distress seeking normality from men, far from the resourceful and intelligent girl they had teased. After a sympathetic discovery, we also regret that Jake is revealed for now so smooth and so perfect . The poet and author annoyed forced to make law by his father, always upright and obedient, precious knight all designated for Alicia lacks a little relief for now. Nick is not any better since after having organized a romantic dinner for Luciana and him, the young woman makes him false jump.
Finally Victor and Daniel are back at the hotel while Victor knows full well that Ofelia is already gone and that the Clark-Manawa also fled. Not surprisingly, Daniel discovers it quickly and lets him get by in the middle of infected. Not cool but well deserved, even if it is hoped that he will do well. The episode ends on a scene as strong as beautiful in which all the characters realize a little more what it costs to live in this new world . Madison and Troy seem to have found a fragile balance to coexist and understand each other despite the threat they pose to each other, Nick is made to comfort by his host he was distrustful and Alicia finds a way to feel alive. Another successful episode of season 3 of Fear The Walking Dead that gives us look forward to seeing which video promo is available above. And you, what did you think of the episode?
