Connected Objects: Fitbit loses points, Samsung takes advantage under the eyes of Apple!
The area of connected objects was upset. Samsung has chipped the world’s second place at Fitbit but, the Korean is far behind Apple.
The market for connected objects is constantly growing. The proof ? Samsung has just risen to second place by taking 12.8% of the shares of this market before Fitbit (12.2%) but still far behind Apple, according to a report of Strategy Analytics. This progression of Samsung is explained above all by the success of the Gear S3, the last connected watch of the Korean giant . At the time these lines are written, Apple occupies oklm the first place with 53% of the market share. If we look at the figures for the first quarter of 2017, Apple still leads the way with 16% of total delivered products. Xiaomi and Fitbit finished second and third respectively with 15.5 and 12.3%.
