Stana Katic (Castle) will star in the new series Absentia, which will be released in September. They tell you everything!

After playing in the famous series Castle from 2009 to 2016, actress Stana Katic returns to the front of the stage in Absentia. She will star Emily Byrne, an FBI agent who, after investigating one of the largest serial killers in Boston, disappears without a trace. Declared dead, she was found six years later in a cabin in the woods, barely conscious. On returning home, her husband remarried and her son was raised by another woman. Emily then plunges into her work and finds herself involved in a new series of murders …

Absentia premiered at the Monte Carlo Television Festival last June. The editor of Melty was on the front row and loved the pilot of the series! In addition to Stana Katic, Patrick Heusinger (Never Go Back), Cara Theobold (Dowton Abbey), Neil Jackson (Make It or Break It) and Ralph Ineson (Harry Potter, The Witch) are among the favorites. We still do not know the official date of the series whose first season is composed of 10 episodes of about 50 minutes but we look forward to find the main actress of Castle in this brand new show by 2018!
