This is the Migosmania to Quebec. Unknown to the general public a year ago, the hip-hop group from Atlanta is expected to be the second the headliners of the parc de la Francophonie to close the site in 2017.

Not wanting to wait any longer for the thousands of festival-goers who were standing in line (some since 8am this morning) on rue Jacques-Parizeau, the summer Festival has opened the gates of the parc de la Francophonie-17: 10, fifty minutes before the usual time.

At 18h, the floor is already filled to one third and there was still a lot of festival-goers in the street.

Access to the site is done in the quiet and slowly due to the excavation which must submit every festival-goer. A dozen police officers monitor the crowd.

Meteoric rise

Formed in 2009 and made up of rappers Quavo, Offset and Takeoff, Migos has experienced a meteoric rise since the release of the album Culture, in January last.
