In the framework of its 35th edition, the Festival Just for laughs is partnering with the Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal (MBAM) for the presentation of posters that offer diversions humorous works from its collection, posters fun that will certainly be the reaction of the festival-goers and encourage them without doubt to discover the true collection of the museum. Also, in the context of the visual arts HAHA-ART, Just for laughs, exposes the result of the new formula of its contest which will address this year to the young people of Quebec, on the theme of ” The Feast “, whereas previously the competition was aimed at professional artists from the four corners of the world.
► Two free exhibits of the pane visual arts Festival, Just for laughs, HAHA-ART, and all the days in the Espace culturel Georges-Émile-Lapalme, Place des Arts, weather is good or bad, between 9 h and 23 h, from 15 to 30 July.
- After the exhibition, the five works that received the most votes from the public online, in five age categories, will be auctionned for the benefit of the children’s wish Foundation. In addition, a jury multi-disciplinary has selected a grand prize winner (Roxanne Rousseau, 6 years) whose work is reproduced on a greeting card giant that is installed in the Quartier des spectacles and on which passers-by can write their wishes for the 35th anniversary of the festival.
